Millinery for Stage and Screen
She also creates headwear for opera, ballet, and theatre companies, television, and film. Each piece is made with great attention to detail and finish. She has been making Scottish Opera's hats for over 20 years, working on over 30 of their productions including Falsaff, The Marriage of Figaro, The Mikado, and The Gondoliers.
Other clients include The BBC - Gormenghast; Scottish Ballet - A Streetcar Named Desire, The Scandal at Mayerling; The Royal Lyceum Theatre - The Bondagers; and the Netflix hits The Princess Switch - Switched Again, and A Castle For Christmas.
Sally has also created promotional headpieces for events and advertising campaigns including Links of London, Musselburgh Racecourse, and Visit Scotland.
